A Rare Miniature Vernacular Kneehole Desk

An unusual miniature kneehole desk in oak,  reproducing the form and proportions of a mid-eighteenth-century English writing desk. The rectangular top sits above an arrangement of drawers flanking a central kneehole cupboard, fitted with period-style brass handles and escutcheon.
