A Pair of 21″ Contemporary Library Floor-standing Globes

A pair of 21″ library globes. The gores of both this terrestrial and celestial floor-standing globe were taken from original late 18th century Carys globes. Each contemporary piece is set in a shagreen tripod stand with the stretchers centred on a compass rose.
