A Levantine Cabinet, Egypt, Circa 1870
The form divided into three levels, the bottom with two large rectangular drawers inlaid with bone and ebonized wood with two Hispano-Moorish Revival horseshoe arches facing the top of the dresser, outlined with a openwork balustrade in mashrabiya style, upper part with two other decorated drawers. with applied decoration imitating Islamic architectural lattices and muqarnas ceilings, with a balustrade to the side attributed to Giuseppe Parvis (1831-1909).
