A Fine Miniature Press Cupboard

In satinwood and exotic woods, reflecting the elegance and refinement of English cabinet-making during the second quarter of the nineteenth century,  features a moulded cornice above a pair of panelled doors enclosing a fitted interior, with an arrangement of graduated drawers below.

Miniature furniture of this quality was often created as an apprentice’s exercise, a cabinet-maker’s demonstration piece, or for the delight of a discerning collector.
